Community Guidelines
Hubi exists so people who share hobbies can meet safely. These guidelines apply to profiles, messages, team chats, posts, comments and events.
Be respectful
- Insults, harassment, threats, bullying and humiliation are not allowed.
- Hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age or any other trait is not allowed.
- If someone says they're not interested, don't push. "No" is an answer.
Hubi is not a dating app
- Sexual content, nudity, sexual propositions or suggestive messages are not allowed.
- Any sexual content or approach towards people under 18 is strictly forbidden and is reported to the authorities.
Be real
- Use your own photos; don't pretend to be someone else.
- Be honest about your age, hobbies and level.
- Don't create multiple accounts or replace an account that was closed.
Stay safe
- Meet in busy, public places the first times and tell someone you trust.
- Be careful with anyone asking for money, gift cards, bank or ID details, and report them.
- Don't share other people's personal information (address, phone, photos) without permission.
- Content that shows or encourages violence, self-harm, weapons or drugs is not allowed.
Spam and commercial use
- Repetitive, irrelevant or mass messages and posts are not allowed.
- Businesses may promote themselves only with a business account and in the allowed places.
- Scams, pyramid schemes, gambling and selling illegal goods or services are not allowed.
Teams and events
- Team names and descriptions follow these guidelines too.
- If you can't make it to an event you joined, let the organiser know.
- Captains keep order in their teams and may remove members who break the rules.
Intellectual property
Don't share photos, logos or content that belong to someone else without permission.
When you see a problem
Report the person, message, post or team, and block them if you want. Reports are confidential; the person is never told who reported them. We aim to review reports within 24 hours.
If someone is in immediate danger, call emergency services (112 in Turkey) first.
If you break the rules
Depending on how serious and repeated the violation is, content is removed, you get a warning, or your account is temporarily restricted, suspended or permanently closed. Serious violations (e.g. sexual content involving minors, serious threats) lead to immediate closure and, where required, cooperation with the authorities.
